ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Edan…
A Graphic Communications and Typography graduate, who has always held a strong interest in design, illustration and photography. My interests have allowed me to enjoy the ability to act on my team working, problem solving and proactive skills.
My strengths and interests have pushed me towards a career in branding, where I feel I can use my positive approach to seek fresh ways of developing and redeveloping brands, to help people achieve their ambitions and goals for their businesses.
As a creative I enjoy working with and among other creatives to achieve successful designs that deliver projects that correspond with the users needs and desires.
I have had the privilege of work experience in the industry, working at Honey creative in London. This was a great opportunity in my early design career, working alongside experienced creatives, who were able to guide me and offer advice on projects and my future career. Whilst working at Honey I attended the D&AD New Blood festival. Where I learnt about the positive influence AI can bring to design. Learning that it has many positive aspects, despite all the negativity that surrounds it. The presenter explained how designers can work with AI rather than against, how it can support us in our work rather than take over and it’s ability to make parts of design easier and quicker.
As well as design, my other passions include travelling and sport. I have recently returned from travelling Australia and New Zealand for just over 3 months, where my experience of cultures, design and architecture excited me to expand my design ideas.
Sport has always been a big part of my life, playing cricket from the age of 4 and football and rugby at school. Cricket has continued to be my sport, playing, umpiring, scoring and coaching. Receiving my level 2 award in 2024 and coaching both youth and adult teams throughout the 2024 season, with success in all teams.
